About - boot-bag

Boot-bag was conceived in 2005,after many years of travelling to Le-Mans in my MX-5. Every year we bought more gear, every year we ended up with a black bin liner strapped to the a chrome boot rack it was guaranteed to leak, tear and flap, make a very annoying sound over 30mph, and the boot-rack chipped the side of my boot-lid.

I decided to look around for an alternative but found there wasn't one. What I really needed was a bag I could attach to the boot, all the chrome boot-rack did was protect my paintwork, I still needed a waterproof bag.

We have now been selling boot-bags for over six years and have literally sent them all over the world, there is even one in Brazil and more than 20 in Australia. Owners of humble MGF's and MX5's to Fraser Nashes and Lamborghini's have bought boot-bags. The feedback I get from customers is always good, they love boot-bag. The boot-bag sits on an anti slip matting this protects your cars paintwork the mat is 6mm thick, its 'squashy' and is 'anti slip' so it stays in place.

The boot-bag attaches to the boot lid using webbing this won't damage your paintwork and stays in place once the straps are tightened.

The bag sits on the soft anti slip matting on the boot-lid and attaches to the webbing using ladderlock fixings. (We have tested at 100 mph+ with the bag full of books with no issues and also sold over 2000 bags)

The bag is 100% waterproof and has two fixing points on the top that are high frequency welded on, no sewing = no holes for water to get in. The bag has a detachable carry strap. An H shape webbing harness attaches to the top of the two fixing points.

boot-bag has a large flap that sits over the zip to ensure no water gets through the tiny holes in the zip. The zip has two buckles and can be padlocked for security.

The straps attach to the boot-bag using laderlock fittings, these are found on rucksacks, bags etc. The harder the straps are pulled the tighter the joint becomes, as long as the straps are tight, the boot-bag is not going to move.

Boot-bag has a detachable shoulder strap, so you can arrive at your destination attach and carry the bag off like a normal holdall.

boot-bag has no clips or hooks and simply attaches using webbing, no paint chips here ! The webbing won't move neither will the mat so there is no risk of any damage to your paintwork.
